What we did
When were asked to design the new logo for Hestons you could have forgiven us for expecting a gastronomic extravaganza before we started work. It turns out “Hestons” is a new high-end, Essex-based estate agency. The brief was to design a logotype that gave instant trustworthiness and creditability in the challenging, highly competitive world of property.
Working with the client, who had their own views of the kind of brand they wanted, the serif font Minion was selected for its quality and establishment feel, with the ligature entwining the ‘s’ and ‘t’ adding an extra flourish. We also created stationery and the all-important “for sale” board to complete the set of printed materials. There was no “appliance of science” but just Michelin star quality design all round. So next time you see a Hestons board outside a house, Waitrose’ favourite gastronaut isn’t setting up a boutique restaurant in a suburban house, the property in question is simply up for sale.
