What we did
Flamingo aren't quite like other companies and their website is no exception. We've been working on Flamingo's site since the turn of the century. For the latest incarnation the brief was a loose, slightly surreal take on the theme of an airport (called Flamingo International funnily enough), so we drew some stuff, animated it, showed it to Flamingo, drew more, threw in as many ideas as we could, stirred it all up in Flash and delivered the site in August 2004.
The site has been continually updated since, not least with new illustrations for their offices in Tokyo and New York, as well as new semiotics and youth sections.
