What we did
If you want to talk the talk, you really need to walk the walk too, or at least that's what we've heard. We wanted to create a version of this very site for the growing army mobile web users out there, but we didn't want the aggravation (or cost) of making and updating individual apps for individual devices, so we decided to plump for the jQuery mobile framework to build a mobile site that was cross-platform, used a mobile browser, but worked like an app.
With jQuery mobile we were able to quickly make our mobile site a reality (even when the framework was still in beta). The app-like UI works really nicely and the speed of implementation was surprisingly quick. With the huge growth of mobile browsing, we reckon your mobile site will soon become the site most of your users see, so if you don't have one, why not get in touch.
