What we did
Internet World is officially Europe’s biggest and longest-running event for digital marketing and online business. It’s THE defining event for the digital industry
So we were chuffed to be chosen in a 3-way pitch to work with UBM on all the new creative material. The new 2011 creative was focused on setting the digital agenda and appeal to senior level decision makers, IT and marketing professionals and to general business professionals alike. The visual map of the internet created by The Opte Project worked perfectly in this respect. It worked on many levels. It positioned IW2012 as an event of authority, knowledge and historical value. It reflected the networking aspect of the event and on a simple, visual level looked celebratory. It is their 20th birthday no less!
Along with the which new creative we designed a swish new-look identity and six new sub-brand “worlds” that had to sit comfortably under the umbrella Internet World 2012 brand.
