What we did
Rendall & Rittner Ltd are Property Management agents based in London. They offer a lot of services so we needed visitors to the site to grasp the overall concept pretty quickly.
Using a jQuery slider on the homepage we enabled them to cycle through multiple key messages in a small space. Then we pulled out the main content they wanted the user to see and put it on the homepage with big pictures to encourage you to click on it (you see where we're going with this).
In addition to a clean and modern design, the IT manager at R & R wanted full control over the content and structure of the site, so we put it on the trusty Umbraco CMS – fast, flexible and incredibly easy to use. They can change all the copy, add and remove service pages, control the sliders on each page individually and add loads of call to action panels all over the place.
News, careers, email newsletter, downloads, an image gallery and case studies. It's all on the site and updateable by the client. Best of all, it’s still really easy to use. Ideal.
When it came to choosing a new web developer we realised that it would be a difficult task. However from the outset FrontMedia picked up on what we were trying to achieve and getting translation right can be hard, but they made it a lot easier.
One of our main requests was to have a fully self managed website so we can alter the content as and when we want. FrontMedia chose the Umbraco content management system (CMS). For a CMS to be that powerful yet simple and easy to use was a delightful surprise and simply the best I've ever used. The end result of working with FrontMedia is we have a website that we are truly proud of and we are looking forward to working with them on the next stages of its development.
