Different mediums require a different approaches. Press advertising brings with it different considerations (and limitations) to a billboard advert for example. A billboard poster requires powerful imagery combined with short, snappy copy to maximise impact and engage a moving target audience. A press ad engages it reader with a little more ‘dwell time’. A ‘killer’ image or strapline is still an essential but, additional targeted copy can supplement the message - a coupon or reply slip can be incorporated to monitor a response.
