World Architecture Festival website
Phase 1 complete: 14/03/08
Following a three-way pitch, Frontmedia were successful in winning the bid to create the brand new WAF08 website, and we are pleased to announce Phase 1 is now live.
Studio Myerscough had provided a complete set of brand guidelines for the festival, so it was up to us to ensure they were applied effectively to an event website with extensive database functionality, without losing the playful tone of the original graphics. All the design and functionality had to be originated in around three weeks. Did we manage it? Well, yes (as you no doubt correctly guessed).
Phase 2 of the site is due online on 15th April in time for the online submission of entries to the awards. Architects of the world unite (and enter the awards whilst you're at it).
