Royal Mail - Racehorse Legends Medal Cover

We were delighted to be given the opportunity to design this special Royal Mail medal cover celebrating 'The Sport of Kings'. It featured all eight Special Stamps and a medal designed by the Royal Mint's Laura Clancy featuring the legendary champion racehorse, Hyperion.

Overall we wanted to capture the dynamism and power of horse racing. Bold contemporary colours were used to offset the exquisite stamp artwork and reflect the inherent colourful aspect of a race event.

Additionally the cover came with a complimentary pull-out detailing key stats and photos of each horse, including their notable victories.
